TERESA FULLER KENTON
Originally from WV, Teresa was painting by age 13. Private instruction and classes at the local college lead to commissions and by age 18 she had exhibited all across the state.
After moving to Georgia her painting took a slight turn and she painted murals extensively for several years. In more recent years she has turned her brush back to the canvas with enthusiasm and a new look at the world of nature, which can be seen in her subject matter: birds, feathers, and nests.
Especially excited about her newest series, “Eyes on the World”, which began in colored pencil while sitting in a hospital waiting room.
Teresa has exhibited locally with the Tucker Arts Alliance, The Atlanta Fine Arts League, Focus Gallery in Atlanta, Art Station in Stone Mountain Village, as well as Louisville KY, and Hilton Head SC, and won the Congregational Favorite Award from St Mark’s Art Festival in San Diego CA.
When not wielding a brush, Teresa can be found working on illustrations for her children’s book, in her garden in Snellville, or traveling with her patient and supportive husband, Bobby.
